Default this mp3 won't play - works on pc (attached)

Please Login to Remove!

I did search, but couldn't find similar issue. I have specific MP3's that I want to use as a ring tone. They work on my PC, but not on my pearl. I have tried transferring them multiple ways (email, mass storage USB), but I can't get them to play.

The player shows that it's playing them but says the duration is 0 seconds.

Any ideas?

Also - do you have to put them in the media card \ ringtone folder to use it as a ringtone?

thanks!

Not sure if you attached it for someone to test but I just uploaded it to my memory card and it works fine... I then copied it to my Device Memory and it played fine from there as well. I'm using OS 4.2.196 that I just updated from at&t/BB.
