Default Sim Card Error?

Please Login to Remove!

well water splashed on my pearl and now i get a sim card error
but my sim works in every other can i clean the sim contacts and if so with what?

Pencil eraser is all I would use. However, if you got the device wet, I would let it dry first and try it again.

hey jon yea its dry all ready i was thinking the contacts just were dirty does it help if the liquid was umm vodka? lol....

I doubt the SIM itself was damaged. How long did you let your phone dry before re-inserting the battery? You should place the phone into a container filled with rice, and keep it in a warm location such as on top of a TV or a cable/sat receiver for at least several days. The number one cause of dead devices after an accident involving liquids is rushing to test if it still works by putting the battery in.

Yea The phones Toast kinda.......

when i insert my sim it says sim error
but when my dad uses his card it works???
i even went to tmo and got a new sim
but o well i got a white 8100 neways
although i still wanna know why the phone acts that way
