Hello,

Im new to the forum and new to Blackberrys!!
Thought it would be an idea to join a forum incase i come accross any problems.

So here is my first problem....

I cant receive files via bluetooth!
I have no problems pairing with phones and i can send files to other phones but just cant received them.
I have disabled the encription and marked them as trusted but it doesnt even connect! I have looked at the trouble sooter but it doesnt seem to explain what to do in this situation!

Secondly....
I cant pair with my Bluetooth headset, it is a blackberry device and is compatible with the pearl!

Please can someone help me, this seems to be the only down side i have come accross at the minute and i am absolutly loving my new handset after only 2 days!!

Looked at other peoples threds in the Bluetooth section
( should have started there really )

..........Still not sure why i cant pear up my headset tho?!? any ideas?

How did you solve it btw, I haven't found any useful threds and can't receive files via bluetooth. Thanks.

Ok, I get it now, thanks. Just a shame you need to "prepare it" for receiving files. I would think that if Bluetooth is enabled it should always be ready, even if devices aren't paired.

Transferring between SE and/or Nokia phones is just like that: select the file, choose send by Bluetooth and a list of devices in range appears. Then just send the file and the recipient gets a message to accept or reject.
