i still can't celebrate, I was supposed to have my Pearl delivered today, but UPS hasn't updated the status on my tracking sicne 244am this morning when it said "Out for delivery", maybe they tried to delivered it while I was asleep during the AM....lol. I've never seen a "out for delivery" status that early in the morning.....

Oh trust me you will celebrate. I pretty much haven't put it down since I got it. I followed your directions, and got an email saying that i was registered, but it didn't resend any service books, but i also get an error when i start google apps and a "frozen bubble" type game that i downloaded, but the erorr is "Error starting *application name here* : Module 'net_rim_ecmascript' not found" that all happened at the same time.

LOL! Living in Maryland, a UPS driver stealing a package is not far fetched, BUT luckily I GOT MY PEARL, it is charging before I pop my SIM card into it. Bummer that there is no case included like the 8830 did. But, i'll pick one up tomorrow along with a 2GB card.

Just set up my Pearl and played around with the themes, camera, and sending a MMS, and I have to say HOLY CRAP this thing is sluggish! It is running the OS version 4.2.0.64. Is that the culprit? T-mobile gets crap reception in my house as expected but that shouldn't affect how the OS runs, right?

Mines is very slow sending MMS, but that is due to poor signal strength which I expected (it actually has a better signal *2 bars* than I expected, I tried to add a myfave contact and that was a no go, I get a SMS telling me they are having network issues and cannot add my contact at this time and to try later. When I tried to register for MyTmobile, I had to do the "resend password" option b/c the first SMS with my temporary password never came, then once I do register and log onto mytmobile, it too is down for maintainance....WAY TO GO T-MOBILE!

I also recently got my BlackBerry last week.. the pearl is definitely the only phone i could say that comes even close to "perfect".

I just recently installed the latest OS on it through a helpful link i got through here and thankfully everything worked out!

One question.. I was looking for some nice games to put on the BlackBerry besides just BrickBreaker.. any suggestion where i could get some pretty fun ones for free?

yea, i have mine through at&t, but as for games, go to this link in your Pearl's browser:
mobile.blackberry.com
or just google for them, there's plenty of them.
