Default Bluetooth problems

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, I was hoping someone could help, I've followed all the instructions abouting sending/recieving files via bluetooth to other BlackBerry users and mobile phone users, but am still having problems.
I get to the stage where I exchange codes but then files do not transfer. My partner has a Samsung D600 and can't send me files but I can send to her and a friend has a Sony K750i and I can send but can't recieve. I'm puzzled!!!
Cheers in advance

when you're receiving a file, do you have "receive using bluetooth" enabled from the menu?
from the folder (somewhere in media) you want the file to be sent, make sure to press menu and then press "receive using bluetooth".

I've had the same problem before. I called t-mo and the said that not all phones are compatible. It seems that older phones can receive but the BBs don't like to receive from them.

I have the same issue, and it works fine with enabling the "Receive using BT", but it is not automatic !! Hope this issue will be fixed soon, because it's quite boring not to be able to receive files automatically.

i think this will be a compatibility problem indeed, in our company we had lots of problems with Nokia carkits, these were resolved from the blackberry 8800 on. the problems might be resolved by newer OS firmware but i think that the chance is only small...
