Default Google maps......

Please Login to Remove!

i installed google maps and it is kind of slow. like for the turn by turn directions, it takes a good while to load the next set of directions for that route. it messed me up as i was on the main street and i had to go with flow of traffic and i passed my destination cuz it was loading where i had to go. mind you, it was only .2 of a mile, but when ure goin 60 cuz all traffic is goin 60, there has to be a faster map application. is it my phone or is google maps 'laggy' like that naturally? i have version 1.6.0

Yes. Map update can be slow, position lags, and it will hang. Your experience fits the norm, I expect.
