Default Question for Blackberry Users ?? (T-Mobile)

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys i must regret to say that i am leaving :( my blackberry pearl for the nokia e65, my boss needs me to get a phone with wifi, so until blackberry gets a phone with wi-fi (hopefully soon), i will miss my Crackberry!! note to forums blakcberry users are the best and know what the hell there talking about no support forums like this for any other phone....

anyways my question was You see the I-M software that comes on the blackberry (and most T-mobile phones) is there a way to get that software and if not, i have msn on the phone is there a way to configure to connect with out any extra internet package lol im not asking for anything free here, but with all t-mobile phones that have that I-M software on there dont need internet to be able to use it, it just counts them as text messages!! anyways anybody have any ideas.....

if your phone has an internet browser, you can connect to aim using aimexpress through the browser.

Wh wouldnt you just wait for the wifi curve from tmoble on 9/24? --> T-Mobile launching BlackBerry Curve (8320) on September 24th | The Boy Genius Report

Also if you want a good chat program look into Jive talk ---> beejive :: JiveTalk mobile messaging. Its not free but its a great app.

FYI, the E65 will allow you to use Blackberry Connect (I'm using an E61i right now while waiting for my Pearl). Works great, thought not as smoothly obviously as an actual BB

Sorry to hijack the thread but wanted to ask if all the T-mobile/pearl peeps plan on upgrading their pearls for the 8320 when its launched?

I'll bite on the hijack lol. I personally don't, thought I did initially. I bought my first Pearl on launch day, loved it for about 6 months, then sold it and have been using S60 phones with BB Connect since then. I'm coming back to BB by getting another Pearl (which I'm anxiously waiting on in the mail right now!).

When I decided to come back to Blackberry, my initial thought was to get the Curve. But after playing with one for about an hour in the store, I decided to get another Pearl instead, and then wait on the T-Mobile launch of the Pearl 2. I just can't stand the keyboard on the damned thing, way to cramped for my taste! The Pearl keyboard can afford be cramped thanks to suretype, but full qwerty needs a little more room to breathe!

Now, this is from someone who's been using a Nokia E61i for a while, and it has a great qwerty -- but it's also huge compared to the Curve.

Anyway, that's my .02 cents, I'll wait for the Pearl 2 to come out, then upgrade... I like suretype anyway (I could fly on it on my 7105 and my original Pearl).
