Default Firmware Upgrade issue. SMS

Please Login to Remove!

After upgrading my Pearl to the new Tmobile firmware I am having issues with SMS. Lets say I create a new sms, and go to send it, but there is no service. The SMS will automatically X out. It does not go in to a pending state and wait for the device to have service. Is there something that I am missing? I never had to change anything on the previous version. Any help would be great.

this one with the sms and the other one with call disconnection.
both on my version. are there any written tutorials regarding - wipe off/os reinstall or at least a downgrade?

regards,

Going to work on downgrading today. I don't find any improvments in this new release. Nothing noticable at least. So annoyed. I walk around alot in areas where i lose service. And I use sms a lot. It sucks having to stop in a area and have to resend them all.
