So i was pinning with a buddy of mine and all of the sudden i got a pin and it vibrated to let me know then it continued to vibrate....and vibrate. I powered off and that didnt help so i had to pull the battery....has this ever happened to anybody else?

The only thing I can say where I've experienced non-stop vibration is where a customer had dropped their phone in water and experienced Water Damage...

Other than that.. that's very abnormal.

Try a different battery?
