I've been playing around with the ringtones (just the ones that came with the phone), and I have set up different ringtones for different people, yet when they call the tones I hear have nothing to do with the test tones I hear upon setting up the ringtones.

Is there a param something to tell it to use perso ringtones.

When you set up a custom ring tone for someone, make sure that your current profile knows to use that setting.

Profiles-->Advanced

Make sure that the person you set a custom ringtone for has a checkbox next to their name in the "Use Active Profile Except For" list.

My exceptions were a bit messed up.
It took a bit of fooling around but I got it

Ok so I have mine set as you say but it still rings with some other tone? Any thoughts????

Delete the ringtone for the person that is causing you the problem, then re-add it back in, making sure not to chosse the same ringtone as another person, or else it will go to their profile
