Default sync blackberry pearl with google calendar

Please Login to Remove!

I just got a pearl on AT&T earlier this week and have been trying to get it to sync with my google calendar. The problem is that the programs I've found either cost lots of money or don't work, or both. So, for those who use google calendar how do you sync?

Check out this app.

I currently use Google calendar and its flawless. Unfortunately, this thread was closed because of some bickering but its still a great app that's worth every penny.

Good luck.

Anybody have any answers for this one? I have tried some solutions that aren't user friendly and would like to get something that works.

I'd like to find a program for this as well.
I've tried Gcalsync and it doesn't work.
Any other options?

Guys the bottom line is that syncing with Google Calendar sucks.

It looks like GCalSync is not dead, and has a new project site here:
gadjet - Google Code

they are up to Beta 1.3.0

UPDATE: I take that back, development has stopped "until further notice"... that means it's dead.

Also here are a ton more alternatives from the site's links:There are only 1 or 2 in there that run *on* your BB and sync with a remote calendar.

I've also personally used the secretary one from *******, but the site is so unbelievably defunct, I don't know if it's even a real company... they do seem to keep their main downloads on Handango and not maintain a real site :(

BCollins, how do you sync Google and Outlook? Are you using CompanionLink?

I think most folks are looking for a way to wirelessly sync their BB and Google Calendar, and unfortunately there just is no great way to do it. No good piece of software that works well every time.

I've tried them all for the last year or so, and just cannot get them to work. Very frustrating... I wonder if Google is just trying to protect their investment in the GPhone due out next year? Who knows...

Why don't you just use the Google Calendar web app through the browser on your phone? It doesn't offer a ton of functionality - but at least it works.
