Default internal error see logs

i just started getting this message when plugging my bb in to sync. it says this, then i have to click ok, then it seems to sync (although i have not checked if it is actually updating anything on the pearl or outlook i will admit). how do i check logs as it is telling me to, or what could be wrong? any ideas?
