Hey all, random question here, but is there a 3rd party app for viewing pics on the pearl? The reason being that the built in media app takes forever to open, so if I want to quickly show someone a picture of my daughter or something it's a royal pain in the ass. I don't use the pearl for any other media than pics, so a better viewer would be welcome. Thanks!

Olly

good question. im in for this.
it IS a pain in the ass to pull up a pic, but perhaps the size/speed of the media card comes into play...and also, some of my pics were not taken with the pearl, they were transfered to it from a digicam. im sure if i resized them they would open faster

My pearl takes forever regardless of the media, and regardless of whether it's on the device or the memory card... i'm running .101 for my OS (if that's relevant). I really don't care about the mp3 player (got a Nano for that), or the video player or anything. It's all about the photographs for me,

If they were originally taken on a device other than the Pearl, resize them using a photo native from the Pearl as a guide. They will then open faster.
