Default New Trackball

Hi all

Does anyone know where I can get a new trackball assembly in the UK, or failing that, anywhere else?

I's stoped going left, and amount of cleaning makes it right

You can buy one at Cellphone Repair Service Center Cell Phone Repair Shop Cellular Phone Repair Service Shop

I would suggest pressing the trackball in with some force and while holding it in roll it different directions. This will usually dislodge whatever is blocking it.

Please not the track ball assembly does NOT include the internal clip to hold it in place. Just the ball assembly and external ring.

OK, I'll give that a try. It feels different when you push it the other way (the way that's unresponsive)

I've dismatled it as much as I dare, but I don't really have the tool to go beyond the small cube that houses the ball.

I'll give your idea a try. Nothing to lose right?

cheers

Will the assembly from my new curve fit in there?

Yes, I believe it's the same assembly.

Well, I've managed to get the old pearl back together, and I think I'll go back to using her and try to get Voda to swap the curve for a new pearl.

Next question: will the curve battery work in the pearl?
It's the same size........

Are the batteries both yellow? If yes, then it will work.

Nah

one is yellow and is a CM2 (pearl)
other is blue and is a CS2

Also, how do I perform a total wipe on the curve before I box her back up?
