Default Desperately need pearl help!!!!

Please Login to Remove!

I've had my pearl since june and it's had no problems. But recently its started deleting my entire txt library every couple days (its set to save forever and I have a 2g chip with it) but now its started deleted ALL messages as soon I change out of the menu that shows the messages ( I can't even read txts without it deleting everything else). I think that it's filled up the onboard memory( except that I don't have any messages!!)
Please, please, please help me!! I really have no clue what to do!

Vayn, you need to move a lot of items to the SD card, clean the device memory up and reboot from a battery pull about once a week to keep your memory fresh. This is a common issue with the 8100s.

read this and follow the instructions:
Why is my BlackBerry losing its call logs or message logs? - BlackBerryFAQ
Additional information on memory leaks on the 8100 - BlackBerryFAQ

Good luck.

The 103 version was said to resolve the memory issue too but I lost emails and phone logs one day while on that release. Is the 107 release different than the 103 release in that regard?

I lost my emails, texts, and calls log while running 107. Not really a big deal to me though. I have all the emails (that I need) on my laptop.

I feel your frustration. I've had this happen multiple times. Stragely, it doesn't erase my emails, but just the call log and texts. This is the sole complaint I have against the Pearl.

So it's confirmed that the 107 didn't resolve this issue, correct? I've sent emails to T-Mo and BB, but of course to no avail.

Yeah, the .107 didn't fix the issues. The 4.2.1 OS's, IMO, are the worst OS's to date from RIM. I've never seen so many bugs go unfixed in a run of OS's. Quite disappointed.
