Was your call log empty or that number just wasn't there?

Call logs are also stored in Messages >View folder >Phone call logs

You may be running out of free memory. Check out this FAQ:

Yes, that's bad. Follow the instructions in the link I posted and you should be fine.

If you don't have a microSD media card, definitely get one for storing your photos. Use the link to get rid of things you don't need. If you have extra themes, get rid of those too. You need over 20Mb free, at least.

While powered ON, Pull the battery and reboot.

Check status again.

It works.

Pulling the battery about 1x a week and letting it reboot is the best "maintenance" I have seen.

That and keeping ringtones and pictures on the SD card.

Periodic memory cleaning and reboots (battery pull) will help. When mine starts freaking out I reboot it first, and if that doesn't help I clean it and reboot it again.

So, with .107 there won't be any more deleted emails and call logs?

I don't see anywhere in those patch notes about fixing any memory issues. I just looked at my free memory and it said 23 mb free (I've lost stuff near that level when using TeleNav before.) I just now rebooted and it jumped back up to 31Mb free. I don't think we've seen the last of the memory issues.
