Default help! aim not working

i have a unlock cingular 8100, dL IM but its giving me a connection error.

The built in IM program doesn't work very well. I recommend JiveTalk from beejive :: JiveTalk mobile messaging

For the built in IM program you may need to go to Options >Advanced Options >Applications >menu key >Reset Firewall prompts. That may help.
