Default Delayed symbol button.

Please Login to Remove!

On my previous Pearl whenever I pressed the symbol key it popped it fairly quick and I could easily scroll thru the symbols at ease.

Now on my current pearl with the newest OS (AT&T) whenever I press the symbol key it takes a good 10 seconds for it to show up. Then to add fuel to the fire it stalls and pauses when I scroll to different symbols. To get to the second page of symbols it probably takes another good 10 seconds to get there. This wouldn't be bad but when i'm machine gun texting it throws everything off lol.

Any help?

Pull your battery while the BB is powered on, and reboot the BlackBerry.
It sounds like your memory cache needs to be dumped and memory refreshed.

Just tried that and while it seems a little quicker it is still delayed a good bit.

Any other tips other than reloading the OS again or something like that.

Same here - certain themes have this problem, others don't.

Seems the theme I am using (iBerry Faded) has this problem. Wonder if the regular non faded iBerry theme has it or not. My favorite theme thus far.
