does anyone know a way to actually send an email but to delay the date or time at which it will actually be sent

this would help for emails that you want to send and get off your mind but will only be relevant in the future

Compose the email as normal. When finished open the menu and select save draft.
When the time comes open the message from the list and select send.

BUt it still means remembering to send form draft

is there anytihng which woudl let me schedule when teh email is actually sent

No, there is not an option for that, only the save draft option.
