Question Media player, browser, mms, media net.. vanished

Please Login to Remove!

I was uploading some music to my phone the other day, as usual i backup my files first. when i was done, i ejected correctly, started up my phone, and an error message came up all distorted like, clicked okay. it wasnt anything specific just letters and numbers. after playin around i noticed my browser was missing... my media net was gone.. and my media player itself.. the option to send mms is missing.. so i cannot look at any of my pics. or vids ..songs etc.. or send any. Nor can i browse. I have at&t with unlimited everything.. ive been to a cingular store.. and they couldnt help me. I just downloaded the lasted device manager and the software from blackberry.com for the 8100 att. Any help or comments would be great

If you have looked to see if the icons are hidden (and they are not?), then:

You honestly may need to wipe the device and reload the OS.

AND, welcome to the Forums. Good luck.

i know that when i first got my pearl and synced it for the first time, my browser and medianet went AWOL but then you upgrade the software and resend service books and they'll be back. i don't think that my media player was gone though, i don't use media player that much though, so i'm not really sure.
