Guys I have a blackberry Pearl.

Problem I have is that I can only hear a call on loudspeaker, when I take off loud speaker, the caller can hear me, but I get absolutely no sound.

Have i change a setting somewhere.

The volume is up, I have tried muting and unmuting. Even taken the battery out to reset.

I'm guessing phone faulty, but hoping its a setting.

If you have already done a hard reset I would say it's most likely equipment failure. If you are within your warrenty I would exchange. If not I think the speaker is now for sale on part sites.

This just started happening to me yesterday!
I've only had this beast for a month and already things are dying on me?
Suppose a trip to T-Mobile is in order... maybe I can finagle them into upgrading me to a Curve for some $$!

I mean, if anyone can recommend a fix that doesn't require a trip to the T-Mob store that would rule too.
