Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I am using gtalk for aim because I used all my trials, and an I'm too lazy to pay. I noticed that I get multiple IM's occasionally. What I mean is, when someone ims me, I get the same message
3 or 4 times. I noticed that it usually happens after being signed in for a long time or if the applicatin crashes or freezes the blackberry. Its not really a big deal. But its kind of annoying. Is there a way to fix it, and does anyone else experience this??

Thanks
