Default The Black Pearl

Please Login to Remove!

So I was thinking of getting a white Blackberry Pearl and thought it would be really sexy if the track ball was black. I've know there is a program that you can download to change the color but I did not see black as an option. Does anyone know how I can make that ball black (and actually a bit glowy, I'd rather not color over it with a permanent marker b/c it would be all dull lol)??

Don't worry, it'll turn dark over time!

There is no way to make it black unless you color it. (Not recommended.)

don't be so pessimistic! I'm sure there is a way to do it. Seriously though, why don't they let you choose black with that color changing program o.0 ?

And what do you mean "it'll turn dark over time!" ? Do all pearl's do that?

Black is a not a color. It is, in fact, a lack of any color.

As you use the pearl, it will turn from white to a dark from oils in your skin, etc.

HAHA man I feel dumb. Yeah I see what you're saying there.

Anyways, I also heard you could open it up and take a sharpy to it so maybe that would achieve the blackness.

Oh well, thanks for your help!

f you are gonna color the LED's make sure you color some scotch tape and then apply that to the LED's. They generate enough heat to cook the ink and make it fade overtime.

Black is actually the presence of all colors, or the absence of all light.

Oh get all technical on us will you.

But it still is according to how you are considering color, since a black object absorbs all color spectrums, the light reflected to our eyes have NO color, therefore, black is the absence of color in that case, the object has absorbed all the color spectrum.

I'm not sure I absorbed all of that. Does that mean I'm light or have an absence thereof?

You, Tweety, are just plain ol' yaller.

Which means you absorb all colors of the spectrum except yellow, and the yellow bounces off.

Correct--I think. Is it reflective or subjective?
