Default SureType to Multitap

Periodically my 8100 will change itself from SureType to Multitap. I'm not changing it, it does it on its' own. Any ideas why this is happening?

You are probably pressing a key (*) while in any text field or email, on most OS versions, will change from SureType to MultiTap.

Ditto. I had this happen all the time till I realised that was a shortcut.

I don't think I'm pushing the * button. Especially since this happens every few days, I don't think I'm doing this that often.

hmmm, then the other method *might* be pressing ALT + enter, could change it , another 8100 user will have to confirm. On many BBs that will change the input method.

on my 8100, pressing Alt+Enter changes the input language.
