Default Blackberry 8100 keyboard lock

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys!

I thought lost my 8100 a while ago, and so I used that as an excuse to upgrade . I'm happy with my new pearl, but I found my old one. It has been a couple of months since I have used it and I cant for the life of me recall what the password is to unlock the keyboard. I know after 10 attempts, the phone will be wiped.

If this happens, what exactly will happen after it wipes? Is it oging to function afterwards?

TIA!

Welcome to the forums!

After 10 incorrect password attempts all of the data will be wiped from the device - but none of the applications.

Thank you for the speedy reply. I have been a long time lurker, and this site is very helpful.

I have another question...After being wiped, will it be like the first day I received it?

Welcome to the Forums.

It won't be exactly factory new, your old applications will be there, but no personal data, mail, contacts, etc. Sorta factory new.

You could wipe with jl_cmdr and reload the OS and have it spanking new.
