Default Unlocking 8100.. Side effects?

Please Login to Remove!

For those of you who have unlocked your Cingular/ATT 8100, did it have any side effects?

I unlocked my razr, and I had to do a few things to get mms to work again, etc.

Thanks!

Unlocking only allows you to use other sim cards in the device. All will work the same as it did before unlocking. Anything different would be due to the different account/sim card.

I unlocked mine and itworks perfectly but i have a t-mobile phone i unlocked it and now use cingular... my phone picks up the cingular signal and stuff but even with the new cingular sim card when i turn it on and off it still says t-mobile... this is a side effct from me buying my phone from t-mobile as the dealer of the phone... thats the only side effect i could find

The startup splash screen can not be changed by unlocking or OS version. It's there to stay.
