I have the pearl 8100 and the trackball became loose. I was very careful with it but, of course, eventually it fell out and I cannot find it. Now blackberry is telling me i have to buy a new phone. Does anyone know how or where I can get a new trackball? Your help would be greatly appreciated!!

EDIT- The trackball assemblies do not seem to come with the Internal Clip that holds the mechanism down. I hope that you still have yours if not keep that in mind when shopping and be sure to look for one!

You are a lifesaver! The retaining clip is the only one i do have. Fantastic!
