Default not getting random types of messages...

Please Login to Remove!

sorry, but i didn't know how to approach searching this issue...

can get: SMS, email, and MMS (but can't view attachment and icon will not go away on home screen).

CAN'T get: Blackberry msg, google IM, or PIN

the data connection is good cause i get get my Gmail through the Gmail app and browse the internet (although opera mini is stalling out). i just updated the OS to .107 last weekend.

i can't figure it out. i shut it off and back on, and pulled the battery. outside of that, i don't know what else to do.

Do you have a blackberry data plan?

Sounds like you don't, and may have a non-blackberry data plan.

You need a BlackBerr data plan for PIN, BB Messenger, blackberry browser, etc.

Do you have a gprs/edge (lower case) indicator on you screen, or a GPRS/EDGE (upper case) indicator?

If lower case... then there is a problem with the data plan provisioning on your account and you'll need to call your carrier.

Wow, I thought this would be solved. Looks like it's time for a call to the carrier.
