Default The Battery Went Blitz

Please Login to Remove!

I noticed over the past two weeks that my battery was not as strong as it had been. The battery seemed to go down much faster than before. Then last night I put the battery on charge and when I went to take it out of the charger, it had not charge at all. I really had a time of it before I finally got it to reboot (I pulled out the battery several times before it worked.) When I got it to reboot, it showed no charge. Has this type of incident been reported before, and if so, what's the solution, if any, except for a new battery?

Your description is pretty typical of how a battery behaves when it has failed. AFAIK the only solution is a new battery.

I've noticed that mines is starting to wear down a little faster than usual, so I might be in the market for a new one as well. I guess seido will be getting an order pretty soon.

Did you condition your battery when you got your phone? I think that helps extend the life of the battery. If you end up getting a new one you should condition it.

Conditioning means fully charging it when you first get it, then run it down to 15-20% and fully charge again. Do that for 3 cycles. Then charge whenever you want.

Thanks JC, I guess I should have explained what conditioned meant.

Mines has been conditioned, but battery life is a little shorter now. It's not running out in one day.....nothing like that, but I'm still keeping an eye on it.

Default Battery went Blitz

Thanks for everyone's input. I went to an AT&T store yesterday, explained the issue and they gave me a new battery, which I am now in the process of conditioning. They did not charge me for the battery because the phone is still under warraanty.
