You can download Opera mini from

www.operamini.com

then set your TCP settings to the ones for TMobile from here:

Carrier specific APN/TCP settings - BlackBerryFAQ

You can't get push email or download apps, though.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Like John said you won't be able to get e-mail. You would need to switch from the Sidekick data plan to a BlackBerry data plan. Then you could get the push e-mail and be able to use the BlackBerry browser for downloading applications over the air.

Go to Options >Advanced Options >TCP and enter the following:

apn:wap.voicestream.com
username
password

leave username and password blank.

Then reboot the device and try opera again.

AND after that, pull the battery to reboot the BB, then open Opera and try again.

You say you have "pay as you go" and your profile shows TMobile.

TMO prepaid does not support data except for very limited TZones (only what TMO lets you get to) therefore I don't believe you will be able to do what you are trying to do. I'm not even sure you can get the limited TZones sites with your BB.

The SideKick plan does no good with any device except the SideKick as it is restricted to the SideKick servers -- other devices cannot use them.
