Default Uploading Pictures from phone to T-Mobile

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone know any short cuts for uploading a bunch of photos from the pearl to the T-mobile pictures service? Currently, the way I'm doing it is excruciating - sending them as individual MMS messages to the 222 address. it's taking forever. is there any way to send them all at once? (on the sprint service, you had the option to "upload all pictures to the sprint picturemail server") or does anyone know any shortcuts for uploading all of the pictures on the phone? or even sending more than one picture at a time to the 222 address?

thanks in advance for any information.

Transfer them to your PC then upload them via the web. Would probably be much quicker, too.

worked like a charm, thanks. i hadn't used the desktop management software before because i was afraid of screwing up something in the sync since i use wireless BES. so far, doesn't seem to be a problem. that desktop management software is actually awesome. thanks again!

Try this first:

Options >Security Options >General Settings. Scroll to the very bottom and highlight Desktop under Services. Then click menu key and select "regenerate encryption keys."

If that doesn't work you will need to reactivate on your BES. You can do it by properly setting up your desktop manager (you must be connected to your corporate mail system, either by vpn or lan) and making sure it's pulling the proper email profile.

If you can't connect with that computer then you'll need to call your IT department for an activation password.

Then uninstall desktop manager and reinstall using the BIS option then it won't mess with your Enterprise settings.

If you have a media card, there is no reason to use desktop manager to transfer photos. The card should show up as a removable drive in my computer.

man, this stuff gets confusing. when i set up the desktop management software i used the BES option since that's what i'm using - should i have said BIS instead??

i'm currently trying "regenerate encryption keys". it seems to be taking a while.

if that doesn't work, can i try to do it using the desktop software? what settings should it be on??

In order to "fix" it with Desktop Manager you'll need to be installed using BES setup (as you did.) You need to connect to your corporate email system as if you were checking from your PC. I connect via vpn, personally. Then the Desktop Manager needs to pull your corporate email profile. You can do that in the desktop managager under Options > Profile settings. I have mine set to prompt. When the device is plugged in you should see "connected" (for the device connected to the computer/desktop manager) and "online" (for an online connection to your email profile.)

Once you do this then go to Email Settings and regenerate the encryption key in there. I can't remember the exact menu items in there but look for regenerate encryption keys.

If you get it setup properly then when you do an OS upgrade you will get automatic BES reactivation after the upgrade. That's how you upgrade without getting IT involved.

Additionally, if I plug in someone else's BB, I just cancel out when it prompts me for an email profile. Then it doesn't mess with any enterprise settings on other BB's.
