| /cry Ohh emmm gee! Please Login to Remove! Oh no! Get this! I drop my phone out of my lap onto the ground and what happens? the entire trackball mechanism FLIES. I pick up all the pieces i could fine, which include a Metal bracket thing with only 2 prongs, the crome outside with only 2 prongs, and a White Peice with a little metal/aluminum or someting circle thing., I called T-Mobile, since i dont have insurance there like, Well thats your fault,. I sugest buying another BB and getting insurance!!!?!?!?!?! WTF..
I saw you can buy the whole mechanism off some websites for like 60$ but i really dont have that much to spend irght now, is there anothere website? or am i SOL? and have to use this old Samsung T509 for the next month!? | Offline

| The retaining clip is the small metal part with two prongs on each side. The trackball drops into the hole, the retaining clip pops on to hold the assembly in place, then the chrome (plastic) ring snaps on the top. | Offline

| In the origianl post you said that you had a metal bracket with 2 prongs. That is the retaining ring.

| Yes, that is the retaining clip. I've not seen it for sale anywhere. if your chrome ring only has two prongs then you broke some off. It should have three. | Offline
