Default Desktop Manager on Vista - 09-25-2007, 08:19 PM

This might not be the right place for this but the only software forum I saw was for the BB OS.

Has anyone gotten Desktop Manager to load and work properly on Vista? I have a lenovo Thinkpad T61 and when I try and start the setup it takes for ever for it do anything. After about 30 minutes I still wasn't finished with the install. I finally gave up.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Right click on the Desktop Manager setup installation file and select "Run As Administrator."

We loaded it on a Vista laptop as well and it took a long time but eventually finished. I don't know why the install on Vista is that slow.

I purchased a new Dell PC with Windows Vista last February and reloaded my BB Desktop Manager without a hitch. Many it has something to do with your laptop.
