is there any program that is free (i'm not trying to be a freeloader, i belong to a non profit organization, pay for my own blackberry and service, and would like to use such a piece of software for this organization) i am setting up a webserver and firewall for use by this organization, and want to know if there is some program that i can use that will do this. anything at all helps.

Nagios is what I use to monitor my network, it's free and so is linux that it runs on so your good to go.

ooh, that's a very promising looking piece of software, i had already found a piece of software, for pc, the same exact one in fact, but failed to mention in my first post that i was looking to remotely monitor it from my blackberry, thanks a million though.
