Smile How to download music!

Please Login to Remove!

Can anyone help me figure out how to download music to the phone? I have installed the desktop manager. I tried downloading a song I bought in itunes and I can't seem to make it work. I do have a microsd card and would like to download it to this. Can anyone walk me through the steps to download music to the blackberry pearl? Thanks for the help. I have spent many hours trying to figure this out.

iTunes purchased music will only play on the iPod. You can burn your iTunes music to a CD then import the CD back into iTunes. Then you can copy those converted songs onto the media card.

The songs will be converted from and m4p (not compatible with the pearl) to an m4a (compatible with the pearl.)

Is there a good MP3 converter? I would like to download my cd's to mp3 format. I would like the simplest software available for a novice? Also, what are some good sights to buy music from that are already mps's.Thanks.

use the "rip" function in windows media. its pretty simple. just check the "options" first so you know where the media player is ripping the cd to.

I have CD's that I would like to download. How would I go about doing this? Do I have to convert in Media player to get it to MP3 format? If so can I rip it to my C drive. I do not want to copy to a cd as I already own the cd. Please help with instructions. Thanks.

Just burn the itunes puchased tracks to a cd and then rip with windows media. Easiest way in my opinion. Dont have to buy a converter.

Ok I just tried ripping a cd in Windows Media Player and downloaded it to My Music folder so now all I would have to do is plug my phone into my computer and start desktop manager and drag and drop into the microsd card and it should play. Is this correct. I can't try it right now as I do not have Desktop manager loaded at work. Besides that it took over 2 hrs to load onto my computer. That was with cable internet. If that is all that I have to do it should be easy. Can I also just open explorer and copy and paste into the microsd card drive or do you have to do it in Desktop manager? Thanks for all the help. Appreciate it.

Should be able to just drag it over as its just files and not programs. Should be easy enough to do.
