Default Need help syncing outlook

Please Login to Remove!

I can sync with the calender in outlook and it loads just fine to my bb. The contact list will not load. It keeps saying unable to write or update application. How do I fix this. Thank you for your help.

likely you have a contact in Outlook without a FIRST, LAST or COMPANY name entered. The BB must have one of those three fields populated to index (not all three, just one). Check your contacts for such. That is the most common issue as you describe.

Or, there is an odd first character in one of those fields, such as an + or *.

i had several names that had "&" and "." in the names. I renamed them and it then would sync and load all of the names saved in my contact to my bb. Again thank you for helping.

I have looked at the link and and none of them apply, i have checked my contacts and their all ok and i am on the latest ver software.

Well without your being helpful with further detailed info (other than having the same problem) let's see if anyone else has any helpful comments, since those in the link are the routine issues and solutions from RIM themselves.
