So I just bought a Pearl and I am trying to transfer my contacts from my MDA to the Pearl. I went to an AT&T store last night and they did it but things are all cut off, first and last names are switched and all the info is not there. Is there some way that I can just delete the mess they made and do it myself. Thanks in advance.

I tried doing a hard reset (wipe handset) to get rid of all of the numbers I had on my phone so that I could sync with Outlook but now I have been staring at a glowing white screen for some time now. Is my phone ever coming back to life or is there something that I can do.

Do you still have the MDA? Can you transfer all those contacts from the MDA to your PC such as to Outlook?

if so, then sync Outlook to your BB, using Desktop Manager:

Good luck, welcome to the Forums.

Welcome!! Another Sac Town member representing!!

You wiped more than your contacts....you wiped the OS. Do you have a code 507 on the screen? In anycase you will need to re-load the OS.

Wallace, please don't start a second thread on the same matter.

What kind of wipe did you do? with jl_cmdr or the through the BB itself using the Options > Security?
