a friend told me to try this

options - advanced options - applications - scroll to opera mini 4 beta - menu key - edit permissions - change both "connections" and "interactions" to default - menu key - save.

you should now be prompted to restart device, restart and opera 4 should work. i did this in the morning and it has been goin strong since, i'm wondering if it's a coincidence/luck or if it really fixes the problem.

Beta 2 seems alot worse than Beta 1. I get an uncaught exception error just about every time I use it. It has gotten so bad that I've stopped using Opera Mini 4 beta and gone back to 3.x.

have you tried what i suggested? give it a shot and report back.
