A few people, including me, had downloaded AIM from blackberry.com. It worked for some for a few hours but only showed like a max of 30 buddies. I was not one of those. Anyway time has passed and I stall have the alx for the app and I reinstalled it on my Pearl and i still get the same message. See attached image. I think it may have been a service book issue but who knows.

A coworker of mine just got the TMobile Curve and it came with the same app. I tried logging in and I cancelled before it completed the login but I didnt get the error I get on my Pearl. I usually get this after one second.

I also retried sending my service books just now and still no go. Anyone have a TMobile Curve and actually able to login to it?

Oops I think I just found my answer in the 8300 board...
