battery heats up and status doesnt change just keeps going down

J/k.... That doesn't sound good. I'm guessing you have a bad battery.

What charger are using? Wall or USB, OEM chargers?
Does the charging indicator on the screen show?

Try charging from your PC.

haha dont i know it, all hitting like a bad storm.

but the indicator does show its charging, tried both with a/c charger and usb to no avail.

the phone just heats up with no charging accomplished.

If you've tried with different chargers then I'd say battery problem. The heating up part is worrysome. Could be a fire hazard. Do have another battery to try? A friends?

i do not. the phone is actually about to die too.

so i did a battery pull and it seems to be charging now, doesnt make any sense because i tried this earlier too. whatd that .107 do!?? haha

I was going to suggest that but figured you'd probably done that 100 times already.

I see you say it is charging after the battery pull, mmspearl, but is it still getting noticeably hot? I agree with JC's #6 post...... If it is still getting hot, that is not good.

Battery Heating up would indicate a probable dead cell within the battery. Suggest a new Battery

1) grasp phone in hand 2) locate nearest brick wall 3) move arm in the throwing position 4) throw phone at nearest brick wall

with these steps right here, i believe this should take care of ALL of your BB problems!

Try cleaning the battery terminal too.
