Default Red light error....

Please Login to Remove!

so ive had my pearl for over a year or so now and love it just all the sudden i redo my computer and now my pearl is being a tard about desktop manager. I intalled the desktop software and manager both installed perfectly..... but when i go to plug my pearl to the computer using a standard USB cord my phones screen goes black and everthing seems to shut down on my pearl... everything but the usually green light begins flashing and or blinking red. Then an error bubble on my computer pops up says "unknown device error" So if i unplug my phone from the usb it is still in the blinking flashing red light mode! I have to actually take the battery out for it to stop. After removing the batter my pearl goes back to normal. As for my computer it doesnt recognize my pearl and im not sure how to fix it since i installed everything properly... (i unistalled everything 3 times) I know its not a virus or anything on my computer because i just redid the whole thing so its like a *new* computer....Any suggestions??
