Default problem with letters in a phone number

Please Login to Remove!

I use the alt key when dialing numbers with letters but additional letters get added.

For example when i try to dial a number like 1800GOOG411, the result is 1800GGOOOG411.

I get the same result every time so its not me accidentally pressing the keys.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I have a Blackberry Pearl (8100c) from att

Update your OS to this version:

And that problem will go away.
