Ok so Ive had my pearl for about 4 months now. I love it! I have been downloading great apps and themes BUT..... I tried to download themes from the gemblock site and it said that I need OS 4.2.1 in order to download the themes. I downloaded them to my phone anyway,but they didnt show up in my themes.I just have the OS the phone came with but I dont know if I need to upgrade my OS. Is there anyway I can change the file to get it to work on my phone without upgrading? Someone please help and tell me what I should do! Thanks in advance!

If they say you nee 4.2 you will probably need it!
Go to options>about
What OS do you have? I think your Pearl shoul have 4.2 alreay though! Were they themes for the Pearl?

anj20, according to when you purchased your 8100, you probably do have OS 4.2.1. Look at Options > About and tell me what the line says that starts with "v.4..."

If needed, you can upgrade your BB OS.

PS: This is not considered a major crisis ASAP. Sorta rude, no one is dying or bleeding, are they?

it does say that I have v4 4.2.064 but on the site it says I need 4.2.1

how do I go about upgrading?
