For those that upgraded their software, is there an option for muting the keypad tones? It's so embarrassing sometimes when I'm in the middle of a meeting and I either accidentally hit the keypad or start putting in a phone number (I usually try to memorize a person's phone number and try to input it directly for calling and texting. Just a simple brain excercise I try to do.)

No, that is not still not an option.

Menu>Options>screen/keyboard> Keytone: *off*

No.. That will not turn off the tones when you are dialing a phone number.

Unless you are talking about the tones when you dial a number...those can't be silenced...I would suggest type the number in a message and then highlighting it and saying call number.
