I've just successfully downgraded also using the link and instructions above. Thank you. Unfortunately my Fav-5 icons are permanently deleted from the phone as they are not part of the back-up process but I suppose I could make my own.

Feel free to delete my rants, I feel there's some good info in here that shouldn't be lost in a rants and raves sub forum.

So my biggest complaint about this update is that I lost my ability to tether to my MacBook and use it as a modem. It also broke the ability to use OperaMini as a browser. I've tried filling in my APN info as wap.voicestream.com under the TCP info, but that has not worked for either. It's very disappointing because tethering is something that I deem vital and necessary to my job. Unless I can get some help with this, then I will be reverting back as well.

Edit: well the operamini browser is not a big deal anymore, as I just figured out the new features of the standard BB browser are almost exactly the same, but native to the BB platform. Great Job guys!!!! Now for the tethering part.......
