Default Led Flash Light - 10-08-2007, 07:00 PM

How do you turn it so it will flash when you have a missed message or call. This is how it used to work before, my screen would go black and I would leave it, but when a message came through-or missed call-My light would flash saying i missed somethig.

Any 1 know what i am talking about?

No, that's not where it is. That's where the green coverage indicator option is. For notifications you'll need to go to Profiles >Advanced >Edit the profile of choice. Under each notification category should be an option for "Repeat Notification." Set it to led flash.

This should help:

thanks guys.. but when i go to the advance options it will just flash all the time and won't go off.

What it was like before was, when my screen was black i would now i had a message or call without looking at the phone because the light would indicate that message or call came through. I called tech support and they said it was a glich in the new operating system and it was available in the old OS.

Go to Options >Screen/Keyboard >Coverage Indicator and turn that OFF.

Then go to Profiles >Advanced on your home screen. Edit the led notification in there by highlighting the active profile. Then click menu and select edit. Then find the application you want to set the notification led for. For instance, select "Messages." Then go in and edit "repeat notification" for "in holster" and "out of holster" to LED Flashing. Repeat for all the apps you want to set that notification to.

Note: There is no flashing LED for a missed call. it can't be set anywhere. It just doesn't flash for that.
