Default Delete Original Message! - 10-08-2007, 08:04 PM

Is there any way to delete the original message header information from an email that I am forwarding. I would prefer not having to copy the message and composing a brand new one .

Its a pretty basic function, that many other email programs have.

Thanks.

After you hit "forward" hit the menu key again and select "Delete Original Text."

Oh....yeah, my bad. The "delete original text" is in the reply message, not forward.

You're right. You can't edit/delete the original text in a forward.

I'll "select" teh original text; Then copy it to a new message. Then you can edit what you want.

This is what I do, if I want to "clean" a forwarded message...

Why not just hit "Reply" and then remove the original emailer's address and add the one you're forwarding it to. That way you can do the "delete original text" thing.
