Hi,

I have got some saved texts in my 7300, i wanted to transfer these saved texts to my pearl. can you tell me if there is some way i can transfer them across. can i sync the 7300 with a pc and then sync the pc with the 8100

Sync won't do it, but Switch Device Wizard will, within Desktop Manager.

OR, use backup on the old BB and restore ONLY the sms database on the restore to the 8100.
