Default Meeting Requests, etc sent to BB w/out data plan?

is it possible to send meeting requests to a pearl that does not have a data package, via it's pin?

what other things can you do via pin to pin?

when i go into the email and say "compose pin" will my message be sent to the remote BB?

Check this FAQ out: What do I need a Data Plan for? - BlackBerryFAQ

I don't believe meeting requests will work. And I don't believe PIN messages will work without a data plan.

No, it will not work without the proper service books, which you will get when you get a BB Data Plan.
