Default Email links not clickable...?

Is there any way to make the email client detect links so that they are clickable? I tried a few things but nothing has been working. It just interprets everything as pure text and nothing else.

All BB emails are pure text, that is how it is designed from the get-go with RIM, text-based email only.

If you want a psuedo-html email, try BBSmart oo Empower email, check over in the Aftermarket Software section. Aftermarket Software - BlackBerryForums.com : Your Number One BlackBerry Community

Thank you, but I was wondering if there was another more bare bone application that would just interpret links and not everything... I don't need images and all that other jazz. All I need is for the http:// links to be interpreted properly so that I can click on them and the browser will open up and go to that URL.

Any ideas?

I gave you the two only (and best) I knew from what you asked. I know in BB Smart, you can by default turn off images for all email.

But URLs used to be highlighted and clickable. Mine jusy stopped working within the last couple of days. Both BES and BIS emails used to have clickable URL links and now they don't. Mine is on TMO with an 8320. Thoughts?
